Facility Rules 

1. It is strictly forbidden to wear cleats. Shoe rentals are available for a fee of $5 per pair, taxes included.
2. Sliding on the grass field is prohibited.
3. We recommend wearing sweatpants or leggings for added comfort. Please avoid wearing shorts. (Please note that elbow and knee pads are available at the reception.)
4. No food or drinks are allowed on the artificial turf (water only).
5. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the building or in front of the entrance.
6. No animals or pets are allowed in the establishment, except for verified service dogs.
7. Please adhere to the rental schedule and vacate the field at the end of your session.
8. Bringing alcohol is strictly prohibited. The Tenant will be held responsible for any fines resulting from non-
compliance with this rule. (See conditions of rentals)

Conditions of rental

OUR OBLIGATIONS
The Ministry of Cricket and Other Homeless Sports is committed to providing a safe space for sporting and
recreational activities. We are therefore committed to:
– Provide the necessary sports equipment based on the age and number of participants;
– Informe participants of the rules and regulations for both organized and non-organized activities;
– Ensure that participants act safely throughout the activities;
– Being attentive to the specific needs of participants and adjusting the facilitation and activities accordingly;
– Offer an inclusive and respectful environment for everyone.

YOUR OBLIGATIONS

The Ministry of Cricket and Other Homeless Sports ensures that all events, sports activities, and birthday parties held under its auspices reflect the mission, obligations, and values of the organization. In doing so, we ask that you meet the following requirements:
– Respect at all times the rules and regulations of the organization, from your arrival to your departure;
– Respect all participants of the activities you are involved in;
– Respect at all times all staff members;
– Follow at all times all staff directives;
– Respect at all times all equipment and facilities;
– Comply at all times with the terms and conditions of your reservation;
– Inform the sales manager during your reservation or the animation team upon arrival if any participant has specific needs.
– Show kindness and consideration to all users of the facility.

OBLIGATIONS TOWARD STAFF AND USERS

1. Respect at all times the rules and regulations of the organization, from your arrival to your departure.
2. Respect all participants of the activities you are involved in.
3. Respect all staff members at all times.
4. Follow all staff directives at all times.
5. The Ministry of Cricket and the entire animation team reserve the right to immediately ban any user displaying physical violence, verbal abuse, sexual violence, physical harassment, verbal harassment, sexual harassment, or
using sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, and/or other inappropriate language, in accordance with applicable provincial and federal laws.

OBLIGATIONS TOWARD EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES

For all provisions related to equipment and facilities in this section, the tenant agrees to:
6. Comply at all times with the terms and conditions of your reservation. Any person who does not respect the duration of their reservation will be charged $100 for every 30-minute exceding their reservation time.
7. Use the rented fields only for the purposes and uses stated in the Rental Agreement and for no other purpose. The Tenant acknowledges having inspected the rented premises and is satisfied with them.
8. Obtain prior written permission from the Landlord to modify the layout of the premises or connect any electrical installation or similar to the existing system.
9. Respect all equipment and facilities at all times.
10. Ensure that children and other users are supervised by responsible and competent individuals, and that this supervision is carried out diligently, actively, and continuously.
11. Supervise children and other users who are part of your group outside of the organized activity (whether before or after), and ensure they comply with the facility’s rules and regulations.
12. Use the rented premises and the facility’s equipment with care and diligence, and immediately notify the Landlord of any problematic situation. Any damage to synthetic turf, facilities, or the Ministry’s equipment will result in a minimum fine of $1,000. Theft of products and vandalism will be treated in the same way. Any refusal to cooperate or refusal to pay the fine may lead to legal actions.
13. Return the rented premises in the same condition as when they were rented. If the Landlord determines that the fields or spaces reserved are not sufficiently cleaned and this causes issues for the next event, a cleaning fee of up to $1,000 may be charged. Piñatas, silly string, smash cakes, and/or decorations that cause a mess are strictly prohibited.
14. Remove all belongings and accessories that belong to you or others; otherwise, these items will be considered abandoned and constitute a violation of provision 13 of this section. The Landlord may dispose of these items at their discretion, without notice or compensation.

RESPONSIBILITY OBLIGATIONS

15. The Tenant will not hold the Landlord, its directors, employees, or agents liable, and will indemnify them for any damage or loss to persons, property, or premises, or to its guests. This includes any costs of any nature arising from actions, claims, or lawsuits. Any insurance is the responsibility of the Tenant, their members, or their guests.
16. The Landlord reserves the right to suspend or ban players for non-compliance with rules, disruption, or
inappropriate behavior. The Tenant must refuse access to suspended or banned players.
17. The Ministry of Cricket and the entire animation team reserve the right to immediately ban any user displaying physical violence, verbal abuse, sexual violence, physical harassment, verbal harassment, sexual harassment, or
using sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, and/or other inappropriate language, in accordance with applicable provincial and federal laws.
18. Animals, bicycles, or vehicles other than those necessary for transporting people with reduced mobility are not allowed in the building or rented premises.
19. The Tenant must not take any action that could harm the rights of the Landlord, its directors, employees, other tenants in the building, or the neighborhood. No dangerous, flammable, toxic, or illegal products will be tolerated in the rented premises.

FIRE SAFETY SERVICE OBLIGATIONS

20. Emergency exits must be used exclusively in case of emergency or mayor force.
21. The number of people in the rented premises must not exceed the number indicated on the permit; otherwise, the Occupancy Permit may be revoked.
22. The Tenant must comply with and ensure compliance with the facility’s regulations and fire safety standards.
23. The Tenant will assume all costs imposed on the Landlord by the Montreal Fire Safety Service as a result of triggering the fire alarm without a valid reason. These costs may be as high as $3,000.
24. No modification may be made to this permit unless in writing, duly signed and accepted by the Tenant.

PAYMENT OBLIGATIONS

ONLY BY PHONE

25. The Tenant may not sublet or transfer their rights under this Rental Agreement, in whole or in part, and the agreement is not subject to automatic renewal.
26. The Tenant agrees to pay the full amount of their reservation no later than 14 days before the event. If the Tenant wishes to make a deposit, it must be done 21 days before the reservation for a minimum of 50% of the total price.

BY PHONE OR ONLINE
If the Tenant wants to cancel their contract or change the event date, this must be done at least 14 days before the event. The Tenant can receive a full refund or reschedule the reservation, but only if they have first subscribed to the reservation refund/rescheduling service. If the Tenant wishes to cancel their contract but has not subscribed to the refund/rescheduling service, no refund will be possible. If they want to reschedule their reservation, a fee of $125 will be charged.
In case of non-compliance with this clause, the client’s event may be canceled. The Lessor agrees to refund the full contract fees, except for the refund/rescheduling service fees, which are non-refundable.
27. The Landlord reserves the right to move a reservation, with 14 days notice, to an alternative date or time that is convenient for the client.
28. The Landlord, through its representatives, may, for major reasons, terminate this contract at any time with simple notice to the Tenant (e.g., fire, vandalism, major repairs, etc.), and the Tenant waives any claims against the Landlord.
29. The parties have requested that this contract be written in both French and English.
In order to respect its mission, values, and commitments, the Ministry of Cricket and its animation team have the duty to offer an inclusive and respectful space for all users. In doing so, the Ministry of Cricket and the entire animation team reserve the right to immediately ban any user displaying physical violence, verbal abuse, sexual violence, physical harassment, verbal harassment, sexual harassment, or using sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, and/or other inappropriate language, in accordance with applicable provincial and federal laws.
In order to respect its mission, values, and commitments, the Ministry of Cricket and its animation team reserve the right to ask participants who do not respect these obligations to leave the activity, with no exceptions.
For anyone acting against the safety of participants, the Ministry and its animation team reserve the right to remove the individual in question from the activity.
If the participant in question displays verbal or physical violence toward the team, other participants, equipment,
and/or facilities, the animation team reserves the right to ask that person to leave the premises. If the participant
refuses, the animation team will immediately call the police.
For anyone who intentionally or unintentionally damages the Ministry’s facilities or sports equipment, the Ministry reserves the right to charge the responsible person a fee of up to $1,000.

Refund Policy and Booking Refund Service

REFUND POLICY

All reservations are non-refundable. Regardless of the reasons or grounds for canceling your reservation, no refund will be possible. However, the Ministry of Cricket and Other Orphan Sports offers a reservation refund or rescheduling service that can be purchased for an additional fee at the time of booking, upon signing the contract.
If you choose the reservation refund or rescheduling service at the time of signing the contract, you will receive a full refund. Please notify us at least 48 hours in advance for any cancellation, and at least 14 days before your event to reschedule your reservation.
Please note that by subscribing to the refund or rescheduling service, the fees related to the reservation refund service will not be refunded.
If you do not subscribe to the refund or rescheduling service, you will not be refunded, regardless of the reasons or grounds for canceling your reservation. Additionally, a rescheduling fee of $125.00 will be charged for any
rescheduling of your reservation if you do not subscribe to the rescheduling service.
Examples of reasons/causes for cancellation:
– Illness, Injury (including Covid-19)
– Public transportation failure
– Private vehicle failure
– Emergency service recall
– Home emergency
– Immediate family illness
– Death
– Pre-existing medical conditions
– Etc.

CANCELLATION

If the event must be canceled due to reasons beyond the organization’s control, such as weather or other force
majeure situations, no refund will be possible, unless you have purchased the booking refund service.

RESERVATION’S POSTPONEMENT AND/OR CHANGE

With the booking refund service:

For any reservation postponement or change made more than 14 days before your reservation, no fees will be
charged if you have subscribed to the booking refund service.

Without the booking refund service:

For any reservation postponement or change made more than 14 days before your reservation, a fee of $125 for
birthday parties and 500$ for Corporate Event will be charged if you have not subscribed to the booking refund service.
Any request for postponement or change made less than 48 hours before your reservation will not be processed,
unless you have subscribed to the booking refund service.

Method of Payment

(Reservations made by phone or on site only)

1. Payment can be completed by Interac e-transfer, cheque, or credit card to finalise the reservation.
2. Please send us a copy of the signed contract, along with payment as per the payment terms defined (please see
below for details if applicable). Please note, the booking is only complete upon acceptance of payment and signed contract.
3. By continuing with your online booking, you declare that you have read the rental conditions and regulations. You declare yourself satisfied with them and undertake to respect them.

Inclusions and Exclusions

INCLUSIONS

with your reservation:
– Access to the reserved field only, for the duration of the reservation only;
– Access to a refrigerator (Limited space);
– Access to outdoor parking as indicated on our website;
– Access to trash bins and recycling bins in the reception areas and at the front desk;
– Access to the changing room (restrooms and showers);
– Locker rental (Free service with ID’s card);
– Access to the water fountain for filling water bottles;
– Access to the required sports equipment for your activity;

EXCLUSIONS:

– Products sold at the counter (Chips, granola bars, chocolate, drinks, etc.);
– Sports equipment not required for your activity;
– Reception areas and/or fields not included in your reservation.
